Sip and Shop featuring a Food Drive, Kendra Scott Pop-Up, Wine, and More!
Philadelphia, PA (September 5, 2024) – The Junior League of Philadelphia, Inc. (JLP) is thrilled to celebrate International Find the Good Day on Thursday, September 19, 2024, with a Sip and Shop event at The Junior League Thrift Shop from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. This special day of unity and compassion aims to spread kindness, uplift others, and inspire positive change across Philadelphia.
The JLP invites everyone to join in the festivities to enjoy a night of connection and giving back. Along with the opportunity to shop from The Thrift Shop with a special discount, guests will enjoy wine from City Winery and a Kendra Scott pop-up shop. There will also be a canned food drive benefiting the JLP’s community partner, Face to Face. At Face to Face struggling families, individuals, and the homeless are welcomed and treated with dignity and respect. Their goal is to meet basic human needs and reduce suffering; assisting their guests to a better future. Their specific needs right now include coffee, olive oil, rice, dry beans, bulgar wheat, red wine vinegar, apple cider vinegar, white vinegar, and other non-perishable pantry items.
The Thrift Shop, located at 25 West Lancaster Avenue, Ardmore, PA 19003, carries gently used merchandise including designer clothing, shoes, handbags, jewelry, select furniture, household and home décor items, toys, and books. On Find the Good Day, the Shop will have a Buy More, Save More Discount:

- Spend $75+, Get 30% off
Kendra Scott will have a pop-up at Find the Good Day where guests can shop exclusive pieces. 20% of the proceeds will go to the JLP to help make a meaningful impact in the Philadelphia community. The code GIVEBACK-HEHHJ can be used online where 20% of the proceeds will go back to the JLP on September 18 and September 19.

(JLP) is welcome to join their last recruitment event of the summer, on September 11, 2024, from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. via Zoom.
